The day of Mbappé's presentation with Real Madrid began with the necessary medical check-up.
Frenchman Kylian Mbappé passed the necessary medical examination with Real Madrid on Tuesday before signing his contract with the club until 2029, ahead of his presentation at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Mbappé arrived at the Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital at 8:30 a.m. CEST (GMT +2) wearing white shorts, a beige polo shirt, and white sunglasses, amidst great anticipation and numerous Real Madrid fans who waited to see the Frenchman up close and obtain his autograph.
The medical examination, which the forward passed without issues, provided more details about the nasal fracture he suffered on June 17 during the Eurocup. This injury forced him to play with a mask to avoid complications until the semifinal against Spain, where he decided to remove it despite not being fully recovered.
Mbappé thus completed his first commitment on the day of his presentation with Real Madrid, following the official announcement of his signing on June 3 after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain ended.
The presentation had been delayed as the player participated in the Eurocup with France, who were eliminated in the semifinals by Spain (2-1).
Contract signed
In the signing room at the Ciudad Deportiva, the ceremony took place where a smiling Florentino Pérez and Mbappé shook hands, signed the contract, and the Frenchman posed for the first time with the white team's jersey with the number 9 on the back.
Additionally, the president of Real Madrid gifted Mbappé a replica of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, which will be his new home starting this season.
